I was just wondering if anyone heard of who won the ice castle, marcum, strikemaster, portable ice house.. Etc. They posted on facebook that they would post the winners on that site and other sites within the week.. That was a month ago now.. How long do they usually take to announce/post the winners?

Not sure what hoodwinked means but why would they have people fill out there info if nobody wins? I got a call from someone saying my name was drawn in a raffle at the icefishing show. The lady confirmed my info then asked if I was between the ages of 27-70. I’m 26 but of course I told her I’m 27 cause if that prevents me from winning, I’d be pretty mad and confused as to what a 26 year old can’t do that a 27 year old can.. Then she said my name would be entered into a future raffle.. Why a future drawing? For what? She said I’d be getting info via mail soon. That was 2 weeks ago now, and still nothing. Now I’ve been getting weird numbers calling my cell phone at all hours of the day/night. As soon as I answer they hang up.. So I put my info/raffle ticket in a bucket so this would happen? I guess ill know better next year when I see them raffles. Sorry had to vent and explain hopefully someone knows what’s goin on.

Some of those places collect names and phone numbers and then sell them.

We attended a local sport show years ago and filled out one of those forms. Got a call that we got an all expense paid trip to the Bahamas. I said sure, let me talk to my wife and I’ll call you back. They wouldn’t give me a number or biz name. The guy keep running in circles, answering none of my questions and only asking more. Long story short, only thing they wanted was more information…I assume so they could do the ol’ ID theft.

That’s a shame.. Here I thought I might have won something.. Had a feeling it was too good to be true.. Never going there again.. Long lines with too many people in one place was pushing it.. Now I find this out.. I’m not 100 percent sure but I think the number that called me was from south dakota.. Midwest outdoor resorts or something like that.. I’m not happy about them selling my number away if that’s the case..
