The viqueens are losers, always have been, always will be. That must suck, and it’s a fact! 4 Superbowl losses, no wins, and none in sight. The video of the dome caving in was the ultimate metaphor for the Viking organization. No substance. Gee, I’m glad this thread was started. I feel better about the Packer loss already!

Trust me…………I feel good about the Packer loss also.
Keep in mind as bad as you think the Vikings are and have been……….the Brewers have been as bad in baseball.

Good one, I have never been a fan of sports figures doing commercials. They make enough money already and who knows how doing this affects them on game days.
It’s funny material for when those sports figures fail at something. But I doubt it affects any of their play. It probly took a half day of work sometime in the off-season. Even more than the cash they earn from the commercial itself, they get their name, face and team out there for more to see. That’s always a good thing.

My wife and inlaws are all vike/twins fans, so I can certainly dish it out and take it with the best of them.

I guess I am an oddball. I root for every team in our division unless they play the Packers. I think it makes our whole division look that much better. I do they same for the Big Ten teams also. When March Madness rolls around I cheer for all Big Ten teams to win not just the Badgers. Some of you fellas need to chill a little bit.
Same here. Once the season is over, I always cheer for teams from our division or conference. If they win, it makes us all look better.
As for the Packers loss to the Giants, you would have to be a little blind to not have seen it coming. The Pack was on a roll at the beginning of the season. Took right off from where they left off last year.
But by the end of this year, they were not playing very good football at all.
Certainly us Packer fans had hoped to see the good Packers team this past Sunday. But that’s not who showed up. Dropped passes, fumbles, no defense……pretty much means your going to lose when it’s the playoffs. As for us Packer fans barking about the Vikings needing to rebuild, you better take a long hard look at our (Packers) defense. Flat out the worst in the entire NFL! I think Ted Thompson and Mike McCarthy got a pretty serious rebuilding project of there own.
The Packers need better players at most position on the defensive side of the ball. Woodson is about as good as Polamalu is for Pittsburgh. Basically, both of them are washed up. The only good players we have on defense are Clay Matthews, Raji, Pickett & Burnett. Shields, Williams, Hawk & Bishop arn’t bad, but none of them were near as good as they were a year ago.So Packer haters, go ahead, lay it on us! It doesn’t bother me and we certainly have it coming!
January 17, 2012 at 5:21 pm #1029011ANd there it is…… I was waiting all day for something like that to surface.

Just look at last year in the Norris, four teams beat the he$$ out of each other… and if Chicago does a better job of planning for an injured Cutler this year, maybe they are in the playoffs again this season.
As for the rebuilding, I would have loved to see this team with Jenkins at DE one more season. Being one of the last to draft is not going to make things any easier from next year and we will have one of the more difficult schedules to go through again… Again, I would still rather have the satisfaction of 15 wins and 2 losses any time!!!

January 18, 2012 at 5:55 pm #1029501I’m a bit bummed out, not that I wasn’t too surprised to see the Pack lay down like that. I for one will not have to buy the 2 prime ribs for Superbowl Sunday, for that I’m thankful. The Pack needs to re-tool the defense, regain some intensity, and pick up a solid running back. The division will be tougher next year that is certain.
