White Ash Lake WI

    We are looking at a cabin rental on this lake in August 2012. Looking at a lake map, appears to be rather shallow. What is the condition of the lake (algae, weeds) at this time of the year.

    In addition to fishing, swimming and tubing would be very important to our family.

    This lake is in Polk County near Balsam Lake, WI.

    Thanks for any info on this lake.

    Have not been up there since the late 90’s but it was small and very weedy.

    Just fished there this morning for a while. Lake is small and pretty shallow about 6-9 feet all over. It has a decent amount of average sized panfish and pretty good northern pike fishing. Not sure how weedy it gets in summer. Caught 1 pike and a few perch in a couple hours today.

    I Ice fish it only for Pike. It is weeds to the surface much of the summer,
