Monster?

Question: Why do some people feel the need to plaster Monster Energy Drink stickers on vehicles? Am I missing something? It’s just a drink, right? I don’t have a giant Pabst Blue Ribbon sticker on my truck.

Sorry, it just strikes me as weird.

I have often wondered the same thing, I have never had one but if I did and it was the best drink I ever had I still would not put a sticker on my truck.

I see a lot of the hats and shirts myself and wondered the same thing.

I have always wondered about any stickers on your truck.

    My top 5 worst stickers:
    1. Calvin pee’ing on anything
    2. Stick figure family on the back of your minivan
    3. A Gander MTn/Cabelas sticker – you are not sponsored, you just bought a sticker, yeah for you
    4. My kid is an honor student anywhere – sorry, I just don’t care
    5. Soccer Ball

Sorry, I might be a little grumpy this morning – late night on the ambulance

I’d put, “baby on board” at the top of that list.

It’s great marketing. Monster sponors a lot of the Xgame sports. Very “cool” to be associated with that product.

These are worse than any sticker. http://trucknutz.com/

As to Ralph’s question, it’s just a bunch of kids that think they have to let everyone know how bad and EXTREME they are. Kids do stupid things, that’s excusable. If it’s an adult with all of those stickers on their vehicle, then there’s no excuse. They’re just stupid.

Lots of guys around here have IDO stickers on their rigs. Lets others know you hang out on IDO and talk about fishing and all things non-political.

Maybe there is a Monster website where they all sit around and chat about how jittery and awake they are?

What about the guys with the bag that hangs off the back of there truck. I have always found it disgusting, gross and insentive to others who have to look at it. Just my 2 and 1/2 cents

Its a lifestyle statement. If you are young and extreme you drink monster, duh.
I have a tacklewarehouse sticker on my truck, because our fishing club was kind of sponsored(discount) by them, but I think I better take it off, because I doubt they want their company associated with my rust bucket.

Exactly…. how many of you have an IDO/IDA sticker… you know an Online Fishing/hunting forum where grown men hide behind fictisous names with silly avatar pictures and talk/lie about a lot of things we think we know of…

You don’t have to be sponsored by someone or something to stand behind and or promote a business or product that you like, know the owners or just plain want other people to know about. It’s their car to put whatever they want on, if it bothers you that much don’t look at ’em. I am happy to see a lot of DTB stickers on boats and trucks.

My neighbor and I have a running joke going about Monster Energy stickers and snowmobiles. They add instant horsepower when applied to any snowmobile.

My son likes Monster. Think it must be because his mom says he can not have one. I have tried a couple of the ones he gets and most are crap. Nothing like drinking liquid baby aspirin. Have had a couple that would be drinkable but nothing I would go out of my way for. Monster has done a fantastic job branding and marketing their product. From what they have done with this product I think they could sell dirt and make people love it.

Monster decals are probably free, and are used in large numbers to hold the sheet metal and vehicles together
