It has been a few years since I have had to remove the old MN Registration Decal or License from my boat and was wondering what are your ideas on the best way to do this.

    Thanks!

If they are just stickers, a hot hairdryer usually softens them up to be able to peel them off.

Heat then peel then use goo gone to remove residue.
    Worked perfectly on my Ranger.

Is there a more effective product then Goo Gone? I just finished removing the IA numbers from our 1860 and my shoulder still aches from how much elbow grease it took to get the adhesive off. It’s all gone but there has to be a better product. Gas is my favorite but that’s not touching my Ranger….

I always use isopropyl because its on hand. Not sure if its better or worse than Goo?

The goo gone worked slick for me, came off no problem.
I just soaked a paper towel pretty good and then held/dabbed it on the residue a few times to get it wet then let it sit for about a minute so it could start working then it rubbed off quite easily.

Blow dryer to soften and to remove the stickers. A rag with WD 40 to remove the adhesive. Works great and safe for the finish.

WD40 usually works pretty good for removing adhesive.

Extreme case… a gasoline soaked rag will take care of it for sure.

If a hair dryer won’t heat it up enough, get yourself a heat gun. I bought a dirt cheap heat gun from Northern Tool that has taken care of a lot of stickers for me. It won’t take long for a heat gun to heat up the area so be careful.

Use Goo Gone, DO NOT use GOOF OFF.

My buddy messed up a snowmobile hood good on his late model SkiDoo this fall using GOOF OFF.

Blow dryer is always my first also.

Take a rag and dump a little gas on it and rub the goo off. It will come right off, I use that method all the time and it never hurts anything.

I USED A PRESSURE WASHER TO TAKE DECALS OF A CERTAIN BAN HAPPY WEBSITE AND WORKED GOOD. winter may not be the best time though to use a pressure washer!
