He may not have lost them the game 100% on his own, but his ROOKIE mistakes didn’t help put them in a position to win either.

I am not picking on Abraderis (misspel), but without that fumble we may have left too much time on the clock, assuming that we scored. One more second to get off the final play, and no guarantee the last play may not have worked either…

IMHO, in football no game is won or lost by any single play or player/coach, too much team involved.

Nobody in the country thought that spike was a good call.

wimweum: To start I want none of this to be personal, I am defending BB because I think he has carried on Alveraz’s tradition including with his own players now. These teams have the potential to bring in better recruits… And while know he can be a pompous sort, he learned a lot of that from BA as well…

Question: I am not privy to who is calling the plays to Wilson, but during the spike (which horrified me as well) doesn’t Chryst figure in that as well or was that just a mistake made by Wilson???

I’m not sure how they handle the spike situation, as far as who calls it, but I would expect it would have come in from the sideline. Either Chryst called it down to the backup who signaled it in, or BB had it signaled in. I don’t think Wilson has been allowed to call his own plays, but I don’t really know.

Does anyone else wonder why the official that winds the clock stands behind the offense? Shouldn’t he be somewhere that the offense can see he’s signaling the starting of the clock?

…it’ll be because he brings a decent defense back. This is what has made Ohio State what they are (with the exception of this year).

Ohio State/Tressel were cheating the whole time and now are rightfully on probation. This year they were missing their best five players, two years ago we beat them at home with those players… And as good as the SEC is, how many of them may be violating, for that matter is the UW (I am hoping not)???

    Gotta run!!!
