Does anybody know what how the dates on a yearly SD Fishing License run? Meaning what dates are they good for. Thinking about a quick trip to Pierre, and don’t wanna buy a year long if its only good for another 2 months. Also, can they be purchased on-line??

I believe they are good till the end of January is all.
The license expires 1/31, and yes,they can be bought online.

what i did was buy a three day license last year.
Just buy the 3 day this time of year. I don’t see any clear verbiage on when you can purchase a 2012 license. Give the licensing division a call tomorrow.
yep nonresident good to 1/31/2012 and last years cost was $62. Heading up to Lake Thompson Sunday/Monday
Just got my 3 day license for this weekend. Webster area here we go. 
I just bought a year long online, it is good from 12/30/2011-1/31/2013.
Webster is three weeks away! Unless I can sneak away earlier, Bitter is where I’d go but there are better places not on the map.
