Be Careful on the Ice Guys!

    Heard of 2 more going down today. One local central MN and one near Hackensack. That one left his heater on all night and melted his way through the ice.

    The two in central minnesota were a dad and his 3 year old. Had been fishing on 10″ of ice but today their gator broke through. Two teenage girls ice skating were able to rescue them. Story in the Sauk Centre herald.

    I don’t understand what people are doing with houses on the ice right now. Have the been outside and see the weather? I don’t care what the ice is today it will change tomorrow. If you think it’s OK to pull out your perm, pull it off when you’re done for the day. There’s no reason to be that antsy.

    When we came through Spicer on Monday there was a permanent with a little SUV looking car on the ice parked right beside it. I told my wife, “See that?” That’s a dead man walking.

    Don’t the results on this persons actions and the recent weather patterns confirm that he shouldn’t be doing this?

    Here’s a pic of the one up north. The central MN one that I mentioned was dif from the sauk one mentioned above. Guys are falling through all over the place
