    As of 4:30 this afternoon
    The 4 children (a sibling group 6,7,7,9) that my wife Stacy(fisherman’s wife)and I have been providing foster care for the past two years have been adopted by us. It is the greatest Christmas gift we could have received. Some say we are crazy
    (we were empty nesters) all 4 of our children are grown and on there own.
    These 4 special needs children are a special gift to us and we love them dearly. I am thankful every day that they have come into and blessed our lives.
    I just wanted to share the joyous news with my IDO family and friends.

    That’s awesome!!! We currently have a 4 month old that we got from foster care at 5 days (took her straight out of the hospital). I never knew what was expected of foster parents until this experience, and cannot commend you enough for what your family has done.

    Dealing with birth parents is something I wouldn’t wish on anybody, to deal with it for 4 kids is something I couldn’t imagine. Thank you for what your family has done.

    I can’t wait until we get to the point where rights are terminated and we can adopt.

    Sounds to me like those little ones got the best Christmas present of their lives too! I wish all of you the best and I know your journey will not be a boring one but it will be filled with many rewards. Good luck with that homework thing though–it has changed over the years

    Your not crazy! I thinks its awesome that you know your calling, and have given to these kids what they need to be successful in life. Too many kids grow up without family unity and love. Best wishes to your new “official” family.
