Computer question

    I have windows XP and outlook express 6 and am now getting sporadic emails coming in and nothing going out, I get this error

    The connection to the server has failed. Account: ‘mail.comcast.net’, Server: ‘smtp.comcast.net’, Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10013, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

    Anybody know what happened????

    Try disabling your firewall (if it is running) and disable your anti-virus.

    Hmm, you know I had one of my Comcast emails start saying the wrong password was “entered”. I had this set up for a long time and it worked until recently.

    I had the same issue with the password. Had to go to there home page and request a new password and then enter that in your e-mail settings.
