Was down at the Marina last night and we got some big crappies and some other guys were getting some real big Northern, one was close to 20 pounds. I know this is a community hole at times, but the fish are in there. We also got some dandy 11 and 12 inch Perch. Been a long time since I have seen Northern that big at the Marina. I called the owner this am and sounds like they are getting lots of big crappies and the northerns again today!!
Were they fishing the upper lake yet or is the ice too thin up there?
Guys were all right out front of the Marina–I have not been up to the lake, but it sounds like it was slow up there from a couple guys I have talked to–another good indicator is that there has been very little parked cars up there.
How is the ice conditions up there?
You might as well post the GPS coordinates… Then we can all get in on the great bite! jk
Right at about 5 inches was the ice thickness
Guess they got a 17 pound northern again yesturday also
