I have a Lowrance XOG portable gps and was wondering if anybody has used a Lakemaster or other chips in this unit for depth contours?

My Navonics chips works fine in there. I have a Lake Master for HB and it doesn’t work. Need a Lake Master for LOW.

It seems that the XOG didnt go over very well…but..I really like mine. I use Navionics chips in mine and it works very well.

I have one and love it.

The XOG would be an awesome unit in an 8-9 inch screen. I don’t see why they don’t make something like that…..and keep it cheap. There is no justifiable reason a 7-8-9 inch screen GPS needs to cost $1000+. Take the $250 technology in a little XOG and just make it in a big screen for a hundred bucks more……

Make sure any chip you buy is on the older 2GB or smaller chip and not an sdhc or microSD in an adapter. The XOG was designed before high capacity SD cards were possible.
