Sunday ads, laptop

The big Red bullseye box store has a compaq laptop om sale for $233, I’m not much for computers, but could use something more than what I already have. I’ve tried researching it on line and can’t find the exact model as advertised, this would be used mostly for IDO viewing no movies, or music. My question… will this work while I sit here and have coffee, or am I going to be frustrated with the performance and antics of this machine that I’ve wasted my money, just curious of others opinions, thanks

I’m not a fan of AMD. Doesn’t have enough RAM for the OS and has a slow hard drive. Other than that it’s okay. I’d look at other laptops that have at least 4GB of RAM for Windows 7.
