I thought I would try a winter only tire this year since I do a good amount of traveling during the winter, or as my wife would put it an excessive amount of hunting and fishing. I went with blizzaks because I had heard good things about them and figured I would give them a try. I’ll report back at the end of the season how it works out.

On a side note I’d like to thank the dealership for not being able to find the issue with my tires that I brought back in 3 different times. Their answer to the vibration was to rotate the tires until you couldn’t feel it anymore, ultimately they just ended up putting the bad tire on the back so it was less noticeable. When I dismounted the tire today you could see what looks like die blow before the tire was solidified. The rubber pushed up into the tread and was lacking on the inside leaving a soft spot. I guess if you want something done right do it yourself.

I had an old boss of mine put them on his caddy, he took it out on Lake winnebago for the ice race and won beating out the four wheel drive vehicles. I have to say that was pretty impressive. I have always wanted to try them but could not afford two sets of tires (ex-wife). I am sure they will perform great for you. That same boss runs them every year on his cars and lets just say he has a heavy foot.
