    Hello,
Well I wanted to introduce myself as I have met a few of you and fished with a few of you since I’ve move back to MN in August.

I’m originally from Lake Crystal and grew up fishing the lakes and the Minnesota for eyes and cats. But I’ve been out West chasing fish with a fly rod for the past 15 years and now I’m back.

Wes is my long time fishing partner and I’ve had the pleasure of meeting a few of you on the river. (Denver, Dustin, etc..)

So I’m happy to be back. I’ll be out on the river Saturday morning with coffee and whiskey.

Note: If you get my username, then we will have something in common besides fishing.

    Drink good beer and fish…

    Thanks for the warm welcome!
Yes, I agree with the Whiskey comment.
Just found my new favorite whiskey, btw. It’s Breckenridge Bourbon. Not available here yet, but coming soon. (no this isn’t a 3rd party pitch, this is a true whiskey fan finding a dangerously good bottle…yes, dangerously)

    Buffalo Trace
    Woodford Reserve
Are a couple of my less expensive favorites!!

well if that’s how we start a whiskey conversation, I’ll go with the following:

    Breckenridge Bourbon
    Crown
    Pendelton Canadian Whiskey
    Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey
    Booker’s Bourbon
    Eagle Rare Bourbon

I feel right at home already!

I am ok with Crown, but prefer a slightly sweeter taste. Jack is always good, but usually ask for Gentleman Jack first! I may have to look for a couple of those on your list that I have not tried! Thanks!

I’m with you on the more caramel tastes of Crown.
If you like that, definitely try Stranahan’s.

My budget is a little tight these days…

I’m sticking with the tried and true MD 20/20.

Serve this to all my guests.

In HS for me it was during the wine cooler craze. I still remember the 2 liter bottles of Sun Country. Bleck!

I can only do light/clear hard liquor. Bad experiences with whiskey and brandy have scarred me for life.

    Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey
Wish it was easier to find in Mn.
