Is there a reliable one that would be downtown at the greyhound station at 1am to go to the university? Which one should we call?

    Thanks,

    Jeff

Im sure most are as good as any. All I can say is stay inside. I was there at 4 am once a few years back and I was swarmed by homeless and hookers for cigarettes. Also a guy kept trying to get me to “go around the corner because there is a place giving away free donuts”. No thanks buddy, kill somebody else!

My son will be returning to school this next week and will not be getting in until late. We called several limo places and they wouldn’t do it. They said they’d only go to the airport. He found a couple numbers to call.

1010 currie, the salvation army homeless shelter, is just around the corner from the bus station, and they do serve 3 hots a day. i don’t think thats what the guy had in mind for you. as far as a cab, most likely they are waiting outside when buses arrive. if not there should be a driect line phone in the bus station. if not, ask the station staff, they know the routine

Jeff, I work for a limo company and I can say this is something we would definitely do. But unfortunately it would cost you a pretty penny due to the late arrival time. Send me a PM if you are interested in the price of a sedan.

They’ll be plenty of cabs around and nobody is going to get killed….I promise!

Thank you Mary, and others for your responses. He made it in just fine and their was an officer inside, when he arrived, so there were no worries. He called for a cab and waited just a few minutes. I told him there would probably be cabs waiting already, but he had called a few minutes ahead of time.

He wasn’t happy with me for worrying. I told him that’s a parent’s job. He said that was fine, but from now on worry to myself.
