My FW and I are going to the Ice Fishing show next Friday and would like to know of a good place to eat lunch before the show within walking distance.

There also is a new pizza place “Zamboni Pizza” on 7th Street. This review in the St. Paul paper was positive:

    IMPRESSIVE PIZZA

Zamboni Pizza, 184 W. Seventh St., St. Paul opened last week in downtown St. Paul, just two doors down from Xcel Energy Center. But you wouldn’t know it – the sign still says 7th Street Pizza, and new owners Greg Awada and Kyle Walker are turning out pretty much the same menu the previous owner used.

But wait until you taste the pizza. The crust is thin and crisp, the cheese is real and the sauce tastes homemade. And I love that the pies are cut into squares instead of into slices. Other hits were the Philly cheese steak, chicken gyro and hot dago, and each could easily feed two. But it took a little too long for things to come to the table. If they’re planning to feed the hockey crowd, they’ll have to kick things up a notch.
