We fished pool 4 for the majority of the day today and it was, shall we say, a bit “winter-like”. Would have been nice to have an ice scraper along so we could actually SEE out of the windshield as we were heading back to the dock…

Decent day of fishing though – ended up with 8 keepers (a mix of Walleyes and Saugers). They were all in the 16 to 18 inch range – good eater size. My 90 year old Grandpa will be very happy when we show up with the fillets and tell him we are cooking dinner.

I told Jesse that his next boat is going to have a full wind shield…so I didn’t have to put up with his whining on the way back to Bayport Marina.

And I told Brian that he makes a perfectly good wind-block when he’s quiet

It was a good day of fishing though. The bite was not as it has been called in the past “stupid” ,”suicide” or “on-fire” but it was a decent bite.

    That’s why he’s getting a full windshield.
