Well, I guess it’s actually two of my latest creations.

Just a few old cranks and plastics and some 80 lb Sufix braid. Gotta’ get him started early.

Mom made me take the hooks off. I suppose it’s still a bit early for that first safety lesson. I just hope he’s big enough to not fit down my ice hole this winter.

Dude…BRILLIANT! I love it. I guess I have a project for this weekend. Is it hanging from the ceiling or what?

I have a large box of unwanted cranks perfect for this project. Yours if you want them!

No, and that’s probably the most creative part. I cannibalized an old LED light that had a spring clamp on it. To the clamp, I sawed off a 9/16″ bolt and fed it through the handle of the clamp. Then, I took a small chunk of very flexible 1/2″ pvc like tubing I found at Home Depot and threaded it onto the bolt. I hung the mobile from the end of that bendy tube.

It must have taken me at least a 12 pack and at least 2 hours of putzing around in the garage to come up with that.

I looked for the brightest colored and biggest profile lures I could find without having to dig into my muskie box.

Outstanding! You’ll have him dreaming baits and what to use for years and years to come.

Very cool but both of those plastics would qualify as a choking hazard.

I only see one problem. You are not using a Palomar knot. And at the rate you are apparently feeding that kid he’s gonna pull those baits right out and smack his little noggin on the kooshy crib matress….

cool idea, I think BK had something like that made up for his kids, looked like some platics pre-dipped in some Sonnys.

She thinks it’s cool. She also thinks I’m handsome, so take it for what it’s worth.

At least I didn’t make a mobile out of live ammo.
