The water temp at Lake City this morning was 37 degrees. It is probably a little warmer the closer you get to the dam due to the Excel hot water discharge, but 46 sounds too high for right now.

usually the dam gives a 5* bump down past everts or so.
37 at LC bodes well. 35 to 40 is the magic window…

Yea no magic window yet, I was out on Tues and it was 46 by the can line. We need temps around 42 to get these fish movin I think, it might be there soon with this cold weather! I can’t imagine it dropped 10 degrees in 2 days but who knows it is the River! I did end up getting a dozen, kept six nice eaters, but had to work hard for them. These fish should start snappin pretty soon, good luck and stay safe out there!

I was out today and had 40-42 in the river and 43-44 down in the lake. Fishing was real slow for me today not boating any fish.
