So I took a 3D animation class this semester as a filler course and I’ve really been enjoying it. Hadn’t done any animation to this point. It’s been how to build objects and such. This week we were assigned to make a car crash into something. I stepped it up a notch and made it a little more elaborate. It’s not world class animation by any means but it was fun to do.

I’ll give you an A sandmannd. Hope your teacher likes it as much.

You’ll be a great web developer some day.

I started my career learning 3D animation. I suspect your render times are much better than mine used to be back in the day with 486 computers.

    Thanks guys.

Yea, mplspug, it was till over an hour to render the whole thing. Almost takes longer to render than to build the damn thing.

That’s fast considering my first attempt was with assembly language using the 8 bit 6502 processor. Took forever to do. That was back in the early 80’s. About 82 I think. Done on an Apple II I believe.

I think I put mine on a CD somewhere. I wish I could pull it up and post it, it would be pretty funny. I did a baseball game using baseball cards as the players. I did all the effects and voices.
