    Vikings vs Packers

    Gophers vs Badgers

Should be 2 blowouts. Looking at a Wisconsin sweep I’m afraid.

Think the combined margins of victory will be over or under 60?

COMBINED score means add both games together. Even I don’t believe they will get beat by 60!

The Badgers will probably run the score up on the gophers and I probably won’t even watch the Packers vs. vikings game because it will be boring i’m sure. I like games that are a little more evenly matched.

Over 60 would take a 21 point victory by the packers and a 40 point victory by the badgers in theory. I’m not sure the packers beat anyone by 21 if their defense keeps playing the way they are playing right now. They still win.

I will take the over as I think the badgers will win by 45 or so.

Pretty sure last game between vikings and packers were “evenly” matched. Were playing the defending super bowl champs and our number one rivalry. And your not going to watch!? Should be a really good game! You guys are nuts if u think the packers have a “easy win”…

Thanks for the heads up!! I didn’t realize we had Bucky this weekend in hockey also. Going to be tough to get 4 points down there but it could happen.

I see they go to SCSU the weekend after. Might need to get over there and get a seat.

Everyone knows I am a Packer Backer, but if GB plays as bad of defence as they did against the Chargers, Minn. will stand a good chance of winning.

Pass rush is lacking without a blitz, made some mistakes in coverage, but I’ll take two picks for td’s in every game and call it bad D. All the playmakers are still there…..Hopefully Mike Neal will return this week and stay healthy

    Round 1:

Bucky!!! was having a good time texting both of my gopher comrads, when the first goal was scored, “oh we’re ok” was the answer, then shortly there after it was 2-0 and it started to get quiet… then 3-0 and it was quiet…

Round two this afternoon in football, then back to the Kohl Center for what should be a very interesting hockey match, because I guarantee the Gophs will have ‘er ramped up tonight, so the young Badgers will get a real test!!! I feelin’ pretty good right now…

I didn’t watch the game, but I thought uh-oh, 0-0 after 1 or at least toward the end of the first when I checked in.

Nice job by the Gophers to come back for a split Saturday night. 4-1 final.

Saturday night’s game was very entertaining as well. Not a good outcome if you’re a Bucky fan, but still a great game. You could tell it was unraveling when the D-man passed the puck to the middle early in the third and Bjugstad collected the mistake and sent it home!!! That was the beginning of the end…

One last test in the Border battle this weekend and even in Lambeau, with AP and our defense it could be an interesting night…

I guess I still think that the questionable major penalty call to one of our better point scorers eventually led to the downfall. Even though it was killed off, it spanned 2 periods and resulted in line juggling. Had the penalty only been 2 minutes, I believe the score might have been closer.

Didn’t get a chance to see the penalty, even though I know it occurred. I am thinking the 5 minutes wan’t so bad (in light of the fact we killed it), but the loss of Mersch for the rest of the game and then the line changes were definitely big in our ability to stay with the high flying Gophers that night. I don’t think we have quite enough upper class men to settle them down after the mistake that put them up 2-1. It was still a very good hockey match up til then.
