Try going to the Lowrances site and then go to the downloads section go to product emulators and download the LCX-26C HD Emulator. After installing the emulator, put your chip in the reader and startup the emulator. It will now read the chip and show contours.
This is what I’m hearing works though some say you may need a LEI reader for this but with the newer readers maybe not. After that its over my head I run Garmin when I purchased the CD version of Lakemaster for garmin all that stuff is included I just had to download the info onto a blank chip for my GPS/chart plotter sonar and a separate one for my Garmin handheld.
As for Hummingbird; no idea
Hope this helps.
If it don’t work hit it with a hammer then use duct tape to mend it. Some say use super glue to mend but I beg to differ as super glue is vertically strong horizontal twisting I find is not, Duct tape flexes. Dont worry of the bulk a bit of persuasion will get in the slot
