Actually three of them came in the mail.

The 2012 Bud Grant Sportsman’s Calendar’s are out.

3000 are printed for the MN Outdoor Heritage Alliance each year.

104 Guns are awarded, one rifle/shotgun is drawn each Tuesday and Thursday each of the 52 weeks in the year.

Great way to support the non profit organization that watches not only the way the Legacy Funds are spent, but also all matters that effect hunters and fishers of MN.

Check it out. It’s a great gift idea for the person that has everything and people like me that can’t remember where they’re to be on certain dates.

I’m not quite sure about the calendar, but I like the lady in the background.

Question: Why are divorces so expensive?
Answer: Because it is worth every penny

Hopefully the MOHA can make sure the Legacy money doesn’t go to a new Vikings stadium. I read today that Gov. Dayton is considering tapping into these funds because it is part of our “cultural heritage.”

I have confidence in the oversight committee to follow the constitution…but just in case there’s MOHA.

I’ll see if I can get the Director of Operations to chime in here on that topic.

BTY The Governor can consider it…stamp his feet and yell, but unless he can change the laws/constitution quickly, it’s just a tantrum.

Thanks for posting on the calendar Brian!

    Regarding the Viking’s Stadium…….

The Governor is referring to looking into using funds from the arts portion of the legacy fund. There is no mention of attempts to use money from the funds that sportsmen and sportswomen are in need of to better our state. I know that the arts, parks, and clean water funds have already been spoken for in 2012 and the Lessard-Sams council has made their decisions on what projects to recommend to the legislature for the 2012 session.

Again there is no attempts to rob the funds affecting sportsmen and sportswomen.
