    Well I dont know where to start. Read all the stories and made the decision for myself. When I first meet Jim I didnt know what to think He comes on a little bit different if you know what I mean as the week went on seems like he became rather freindly especially to my 80 year old uncle who was constantley giving him a hard time. What really opened my eyes when a father and son launched their boat and the 10 year old droped the truck keys in the water. Father was having a fit screaming at the top of his lungs felt sorry for the little guy. Dad tried with a landing net and came up emepty We launched and went fishing when we got back are fellow cabin mates said Jim went in the water and found the keys Brrr This kind of changed my mind. My hats off to you jim Thanks for a great week keep up the good work. And that grumppy old uncle told me to tell you to get a 4 slice toaster for next year.

    That is good to hear. He sure takes a beating on the site. It seems a little over the top at times.

    Maybe, maybe not, I only met him once but fwiw his people skills were more than a bit lacking.

    No bash, not on one visit, just thought customer service was a bit lacking for someplace that depends on customers.

    Really guys??? Bashing them accomplishes what? If we have nothing good to say lets not say anything. A simple ” I don’t go there anymore” is all thats needed if somebody asks for a opinion. If somebody asks about Eddie’s on Mille Lacs my response is ” For personal reasons I won’t stay or launch there.” Thats about all that needs to be said.

    It’s like still bashing your 10th grade girlfriend.

    when reviewing any product a simple “i just don’t go there, or i won’t buy from there again” doesn’t help anyone. as long as they aren’t childish, expressing concerns about a company in a detailed manner isn’t unnecessary.

    continually doing it in a completely hateful way accomplishes nothing however.

    i get the impression that the money spent to launch, before wasn’t about launching it was about helping a company that had a great owner. things change, and its not worth the money and many gentleman that grew accustomed and hell, maybe even felt a little bit of self ownership, feel let down and have an avenue to vent.

    such is life.

    Forgot to mention one thing. Saw Jim raking leaves never seen anyone do that before at the resort while we were staying there. Keep up the good job.
