Running on Mille Lac last weekend had issues the second night with oil overfilling it appears to be either gas or water leaning towards the gas. Anyone ever seen this and is there a common place to look? Thanks

possible stuck float/needle in the carb. Pull the carb apart clean it and try again. Was it running rough or anything? If it was gas it would really smell like gas, if it was water the oil would look milky.

Thanks, Then my guess it is probably water as it looks milky. an off white. Motor still run’s great but don’t want to run with watered down oil. Thughts.

Water in the gas will be milky, typically if gas is in the oil it will just smell like gas and the color will stay like a normal oil color. If it is water I would not run it much more. Do this if you dont plan on fixing it soon. Drain the old oil out and install fresh oil in it and run for 30 secounds on the hose. This will get fresh oil back onto all the rotating parts in the engine. Most likely it is a seal that has gone bad. Whatever you do, do not let that milky oil stay in the crankcase very long.
