What is the best way to remove water spots from the finish on the boat and motor?

I typically wax the boat numerous times a season and before I store it for the winter. The wax does not quite get all the spots removed.

Got a month of open water fishing yet to do but slowly starting to really clean it all up.

    Thx’s.

Distilled water and white vinegar 50/50, Ducky or Wonderfoam and then Restore. I think I have seen the best results with Wonderfoam and Restore.

I seldom have water spots that are hard to remove. After doing vinegar/water, wonderfoam or washing with dish soap its important to get a coat of wax on the boat. I also wipe down my boat in between washed with Meguiars Quik Clean or Ultimate Detailer.

Restore & Wonderfoam works like a charm and very little effort. I have a black boat and after about 15 minutes its looks like it just came off the show room floor. Very good people to buy from also! IMHO

The vinegar and water worked great. They must have not been that bad as it looks like new. Now a rewax and it should be good for the rest of the fall.

Hey Tom, another option that works great is re-constituted lemon juice that you by at the grocery. wet the boat, put lemon juice on a sponge rub the boat down and rinse with water….

A weak solution of CLR and water and rinse with clean water.

WD-40. WD = Water Displacement. Spray some on a soft cloth and wipe your motor and boat down. Works wonders!
