Myself and a good friend hit the lake for some full moon trolling action last night.

We questioned if we should pull shad style baits or stickbaits so we started with stickbaits.

The fish we one withing 15 minutes. We caught 2 limits and threw back or missed another 15 or more.

Most fish were in the 16-19 range with a couple nicer ones around 25″.

Worked water from 6-9fow along a breakline and a flat with cabbage beds.

Seems that when the moon was out, the #11 floating Rapala in rainbow pattern was the ticket.

When the clouds came to cover the moon, we switched to the Chat-white #11 floating Rapala ands the bite was just as good.

Might have to hit the lake again tonight if the weather holds.

Beautiful evening and night on the water.

Thanks for the report Tom. My son and I are heading up Thursday night for a full night of trolling. Sounds like the weather is going to be PERFECT…….

I believe I am going back Thursday for an all nighter unless the fish bite too well. One can also hit the channel and bay by the landing for some crappie and eyes also.

The weather for Thursday night looks awesome.

Crap. I thought the Mooneyes were biting. Paint this cat guy disappointed.
