GPS-IPILOT ????

    I have a ? about a fish finder gps and an ipilot. Maybe some of you guys know if this is possible. My idea is to have a fishfinder with the map feature and gps. Could it be hooked up to an ipilot or auto pilot, so you could look at a lakemaster map, mark your course along a drop off, and have the ipilot or auto pilot follow the course. I would like to be able to plot my course on the contour map and have the the ipilot contol course and trolling speed. I hope I made this so you understand what I would like to do….Thanks for your help

    You’ve just described what many of us have been dreaming about for some time. I’m fairly certain that this is in the works at Johnson Outdoors.

    Thanks for your reply. I was amazed I thought of something that I think would really work and be helpful, but isn’t being produced yet. I am sure it would be pricey to get set up, but would really be nice….Doug
