Need some advice on fall Crappie and Bluegills. I always here that they go shallow in the fall. I have been out twice. This last Monday and the Monday before. Marked all my fish in deep water. In fact they were stacked up like achristmas tree. All were Crappies. Looked shallow for Gills but couldn’t find any. I did get a nice limit of 10″-12″ this last Monday. I am by no means complaining. I’m just stumped as to where the Bluegills would be. When will the Crappiesand Gills move shallow or will they remain in the deeper basin?

I’m fishing the Mora,MN area. A small little lake that has a small river andcreek that flowsin and out. Virtually nocurrent what so ever. Not even sure you can call it a resevoir. Has more of a natural lake feel.
