I just don’t understand what people find so repulsive about snakes. Fish don’t have legs and they will chase you and bite you in the water.

Personally, I’ve been attacked by more squirrels in my life than I have snakes, but that’s probably my own fault.

I would have liked to have been there with a video camera!

    Gold Medal stuff!

that camera would of had to have one heck of a lens to film it from a city block away

You’d have needed a high speed camera with a wide angle lens. I’m not slow, but I am wide…especially from the back view.

Snakes and I are NOT good company in any realm. Someone mentioned snakes in boats and that has happened on the backwaters. Again, not a nice scene. If I see an eel attached to my line I forfiet everything from its mouth down. Outside the boat. Eels, snakes, they’re all the same to me.

I don’t like spiders either and I’m not going to elaborate on the scorpion on my shoe while we were in Arizona last year.

WOW I never knew so many people were scared or had a sever dislike for snakes . Personally I think they are very cool. Like some others on here I would catch them and bring home also. I even like the venemous ones, I just show them alot more respect.

July 4th a few years ago.

Water snake stopped next to the boat on the FW’s side.

Fishing with her has never been quite the same.

Neighbor lady calls. She was out mowing. I figured something was up with the mower. She tells me there was this snake in her shed, could I help? So I go over, catch a glimpse of this. It’s about 3/4 into a galvanized pipe about 1 1/2 diameter. So I grab its tail and start pulling(this was like the bird grabbing the worm, a stand off) but then I felt it losing it’s ‘grip’ and I slid her out. She was pissed!! So I took her to my place and called my son pictured here while I was walking, so he comes out to play with it for a while, I took a few pictures. Finally I said I got to ‘relocate’ this little 4-5 foot bi-atch, so tossed her in the back of the truck and took her a few miles up the road and let her go> big bull snake. So is the one in question in this thread…
