Sturgeon outing with Fisherdave

    I used to fish with Dave all the time.

    Things change in life and I haven’t had the opportunity to fish like I used to… basically whenever and wherever regardless of who’s calling.

    Dave knows metro fishing and he fished the Croix for sturgeon when nobody else was doing it. First time I was out there, we were the only sturgeon fishing boat far as the eye could see. Things have changed quickly out there.

    Like rod-man said… Good Guy.

    I just talked with Dave Monday. He’s been out,(trying to get me out as well) but has had some issues with his motor the last week or so. Look hard & you’ll see him – and his kids if it’s the weekend.

    Dave rode with me to the Catfish Workshop last Thursday.

    He’s looking pretty good since the last time I saw him. Shorter hair no beard…he cleans up well.

    Like Hanson, I used to fish quite a bit with Dave, but life gets busy and I haven’t in quite a while. He’s a good stick and the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if it would help you catch a fish.

    I just hope his truck is running so we can pound some waterfowl here soon.
