    Do they work as advertised?
I like the Anchoe system….Sounds like a good product

September 9th, 2011 – As of today, we are officially ceasing production and sales of the Drop-N-Stay line of products. Cost of materials for the Drop-N-Stays has gone up considerably over the last year, and we can no longer sell them at a fair price to you, our customers. Thank you for all the wonderful support and positive feedback we have recieved. We very much appreciate it!

That sucks! I was just chewing myself out the other day because I left my Drop N Stay at home.

Every boat on Mile Lacs, Lake Pepin, Lake of the Woods and Rainy should have one of those as standard equipment.

    I haven’t used one with a drift sock..but I can’t imagine they wouldn’t work as advertised.

I’ve used the Deuce a number of times in side winds and it worked perfectly as advertised.

Materials ? Isn’t it bungee cord and plastic ? Seems to me, if your costs go up, you just adjust the end product cost to hold the same margin ? Fair is fair ???

Hey guys, just saw this. The cost of cord has gone up 5 times the amount it used to. I would have to charge double what I am charging now and that is just too much. I could go with a cheaper cord but I do not want to sacrifice quality in this application. Besides, business was going so good it was eating up my fishing time

It was a fun ride and I got to meet a lot of great people including a bunch from this site. I would not trade the experience for anything.

My final advice on the subject:

If you decide to try to make your own- DO NOT USE HOG RINGS!!! They will not hold up and you don;t want to be on the recieving end when it lets go. I made my own Stainless Steel rings out of Seamless Tubing. I could not come up with anything else that would hold that particular high strength cord. I just don;t want anybody getting hurt.

Good luck to you all. I will still be around from time to time.
