    I just received an email from my wife….
    Kaden Tjossem is a 3 year old son of some close friends of ours. He was just diagnosed with bone cancer on the 22nd of September. All though the doctors are pretty confident that this can be treated and that it is localized in his femur, the diagnosis is to remove his leg from just above the knee. He will have 29 weeks of chemo, 10 before surgery and 19 after. The condition is known as Osteosarcoma, which is rare for kid his age. But again the prognosis is possitive.     Prayers sent. The good thing is he is young and prosthetics are amazing these days. I know a guy who is around 20 who lost his leg in his late teens and you don’t even know it unless he is wearing shorts.

    I have a friend who lost both his arms and legs to a disease.

    Today, he can hunt, walk and do other things and with long pants and shirt sleeves, you may not know he had them removed.

    Sad for sure but keep your head up as they can do wonders now adays for so many.

    Wow sorry to hear!! Hope things turn out good. I’ve had a few go from differet types and never good news when your told. Hope the little guy cowes out ok!!!

    I’ll include him in my prayers – always sad to hear the “C” word afflicting such a young person. God Bless the young man and his family.
