Your ship has come in and you have plenty of money.

What new boat would you order? How would you have it rigged?Lets keep it to fishing boats. No yachts, big tuna cruisers, cigarette boats ect.

For me it would be a big tiller with a four stroke and a big casting front deck. Has to be glass. If I really had a bunch of money I’d order a big Bass boat also, but the tiller would be first.

17-18 foot yar-craft with a 90 tiller Yamaha, a vantage troller, and waveguards. Rigged with the usual money eating crap….big screen bird, VHF radio, decent sound system, good rod holders, etc…… Good topic……it does a guy good to dream a little.

What kind of fishing are we talking?

If we are talking MN lakes. A Skeeter WX1990 rigged with an E-Tec or Yamaha Off Shore. Humminbird 1198 (X2) and a 1158. Kicker, etc etc etc.

Other than MN, I’m thinking of a 38′ Fountain or Yellow Fin. One for Lake Michigan and the other in the Gulf of Mexico.

Ranger 621VS Full Windshield with 300HP Yamaha Offshore

    9.9 Yamaha Kicker

    101# Terrova Trolling Motor W/Ipilot

101# Minn Kota Engine Mount Trolling Motor

Minn Kota Power Pole Anchor system

2 Lowrance HDS 10’s at the console

1 Lowrance HDS 10 at the bow

Lowrance Structure Scan, Sonic Hub and Sirus Weather

Now the real question is where can I find an extra $80K laying around to bring this boat home?

Since I beach my boat on a regular basis, I’ll stick with aluminum hull.

Lund Pro V 2025 with pretty much all the options listed above plus wave wackers for the back.
And you can leave out the Bimini top. I can live just fine with out that.

Small enough I can still fish the river but big enough to handle Lake Michigan better than my current Pro V 1800.

yep just like the wife says about shoes “got to accesorize” correctly for what I am fishing for of course.

so a boat for every possible species to hold the rods and lures that are needed for that species. SO I’z just gets to jump in da boat and go.

If my ship came in and money wasn’t an object anymore…. it would have a fully stocked wet bar and a blender. I’d probably hire a hot chick as a captain and another one to rub suntan lotion on. Then I would change my name to Charlie.

I would wait for the new Warrior 2090 to come out and put a 200 tiller on it. I would also put 2 hds 10’s at the back and 1 at the bow. Of course a terrova 101 with ipilot

Justin, that’s funny. I had Meder over at Rapid price me this a couple weeks ago….

    Adam,

I have the numbers put together for you on the 621, I can get you a real nice deal if you go with the etec. Check the numbers below and email or call me with any questions.

    Thanks,

    Jim

    621 Walk Thru
    250 Yam offshore
    T9.9 PLR Kicker
    Batteries
    101 w/I pilot
    4 bank
    2 HDS 10’s

$70,065 I tried to keep it below.

    w/250 Etec and 15 Etec kicker – $66,879

After I priced it I learned that the 300 is only $800 more than the 250 – no brainer on the 300.

If money were no object I’d have a boat for the deep River’s, one for the shallow river’s, one for the big lake’s, one for the little lakes, one for cruisin and sleepin on and one for fishing out in the Gulf. Probably would have various brands that way I wouldn’t be able to say one is better than the other as long as they stay a float
