    Anyone out for early season trout yet?

    Joe,
    I have been out 4 times. On Bear, Arkansaw and Elk Creeks, and twice on the Rush River. First time out I caught nothing on Bear and Arkansaw. Second time my friend and I caught 8 browns on Elk. Third time we caught 14(Browns and Brookies) on the Rush. Yesterday I went back to the Rush. Caught only one brown. The water was very fast and very dirty. I’ve been getting them on spinners and small jigs. I don’t think it will get good until the water clears up a little.

    What county do you fish Elk creek in? By Elk Creek Lake at all?

    me and my friends went out two weeks ago in sturgeon bay in the ship canal and caught a 15 pound brown trout
