My daughter Anna asked me three weeks ago if I had any problems with her getting colored contacts. I fought the idea of her covering her big beautiful brown eyes with green or blue contacts. Was I naive or not clear on my questions?? I love my daughter and gave in.
I guess I need to be more specific the next time.
I would haven’t figured that out ,I’m glad I only had boys, now I’ve got 3 granddaughters ,they get most any thing that they want,already got it figured out 1 at5 and 2 at3 oh man I don’t know how we’ll handle 15&13. Stan 
Are they prescription contacts or just for fun? If they are just for fun make sure she’s crystal clear that she does not under any circumstances swap them with anyone. That’s a recipe for disaster. Having said that, I don’t see a problem with letting her get them, assuming they aren’t big $$. You did the most important thing anyway which was to complement her and tell her she doesn’t need to do something to make her beautiful. There’s way too much pressure for young women to have to look a certain way.
Thats probably why I gave in so much to my daughter. I figured if it didn’t hurt them and because it was a young girls thing, so why not, let them be young once. To me its called self discovery and you did the right thing.
Consider yourself lucky. At least she did not ask for a piercing.

I agree and she has beautiful natural eye color. Make sure she does nothing to harm them.
