I have not been fishing for close to 3 weeks and my nephew called and asked if we could go out fishing today.

I said that was fine but with the cooler weather as of late, I was afraid it could be slow and the fish might have gone deeper.

We started out pulling cranks in 8-12fow with not one marked fish or a bite.

Moved deeper and found many fish from 22-28fow.

Started to pull cranks with leadcore and that was worthless as not one fish hit.

Pulled out my slow death hooks and in a few hours landed 17 eyes.

Not a bad day and it was beautiful on the lake.

It was a great eye weekend for me and my dad up by Alex. We boated over 60 the last four days. Just couldn’t get any bigger than 16.5. All of them were caught on slow death. Depths were any where from 13 to 33 with most caught in 17 to 19.

It was a great Eye weekend(day)… sunday on the Hunters Point Launch, there was 28 of us that rented it from 1-5. I caught 10 walleyes myself . We set anchor and stayed put for the 4 hours. Alot of the kids caught fish too…pretty much anyone who paid attention did it was an awesome time and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves with 20 MPH NW winds Thanks Hunters Point for another awesome Launch Trip
