went through a few weeks ago and 35E is one lane from about 694 to the 35 split. I imagine if that is still the case, Friday from 3-7 is going to suck. Not sure what better options are going north on any other route.

My advice, take off at 2 am on Friday Morning

It can be up to an hour delay at rush hour. 20-30 minutes any other time. Just takes one putz driving 45 with no cars ahead to muck up the entire streach. And there are other who feel it is thier explict duty to slow everything down! Yes, on purpose. Thurs/Fri rush hour lasts until at least 7pm. Wait till 7:30 or 8:00 if you can.

Both lanes were reported to be closed this morning near Forest Lake due to a fatality.

As of tuesday there was still road construstion and lane shifts farther north before hinkley. Should make for a nice jam this weekend.

I came up last night. There are 3 construction zones North of Rush City. The one by Hinkley is about 7 miles. Then the next was only a mile or less. The Big one is South of Barnum. That is nearly a 20 mile stretch. Friday all day will be backed up. Monday you can pack a lunch, sandwiches and maybe a pee bottle cuz it’s going to be bad coming home.
