A big old “Thank You” to big G at McKays Chrysler in Waite Park. The truck was due for new brakes all the way around, after a quick phone call I dropped her off. Had some lunch and a little bs time with Glen and Doug and she was done and back down the road I went.

Since the 05 2500 went 109, 588 miles on the orignal pads and rotors, I guess I’ll be seeing you in another 5-6 years!!

    Thanks Buddy!

109,000 miles on a set of breaks? Wow. What are you guys using for pads? My old work van was lucky to get a year to year and a half. My chevy silverado is lucky to get 2+ years but then again it almost always has a boat on back.

180k on the duramax with 30% life left on the pads.

If you saw the size of the front/rear rotors along with GM’s gi-normous front pads you’d understand why we are getting big miles on our trucks. I got 90,000 on my last set.

Yeah, but how many pairs of shoe soles have you gone through Cal?

Thanks for the business Jami Really, the slide pin on the right rear lost its grease and stuck… otherwise, the way they were wearing, who knows how long you would have had pads yet 109K is darn good Yes, they are BIG BRAKES TOO

    No Flintstone stopping yet….

Gotta love the down shifting of a diesel. Less wear on brakes, and this is my commuter car.
