Hey, gentlemen, all you guys and fellow IDO’ers!
I would like to thank all of you for your responses. You have been over welling with your responses!
I also want to thank all of you for keeping this a clean and on topic answer to my question. I enjoyed the battering humor, other responses to think about as well as “what could become of this configuration if I would play around with it,,,,”.
Chevy, Ford, Dodger and Toyota there are differences. Some major to some and nothing at all to others.
I have kind of narrowed my thinking down to two a few choices or maybe more depending on how you think about it.
The first choice is based on how I feel driving the truck. I’m a left elbow at about 9’oc or 10:30’oc resting position and my right hand at 11:30 to 12’oc position. Many vehicles don’t feel comfortable for this. I’m a two handed driver, and arms in my lap won’t make the grade for me.
Setting the seat for a long driving trip is the second part of this consideration. My left leg will go to sleep in some of the trucks regardless of how the 10,000 electric seat options will allow me to set it. I’m not talking about an hour trip either.
These two items leave me wondering if I might be willing to overlook other positive items.
Now past the elbow and foot thing, “I THANK ALL OF YOU!!!”
Seriously thanks guys, and for your honesty!
Please allow your selves to continue on this discussion. I’m contemplating on many items in this change. I’m eluding on, Mpg, horse power, torque, comfort, and “fick`in common sense for needs, wants, desires divided by the dollars spent” (that is the one that I’m having the most problem with).
Then there is the total wheel base of the unit, cab space, box space, get up and go, mpg,,,,,, Any way the list goes on and on for the sub total buttons. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got many things narrowed down. Just still thinking and my head will be hitting the grand total button rather soon.
Please continue with your responses.
Thanks again!
