xylitol sweetener warning for dog owners

    A friend of mine lost his dog the other day after getting into a small package of mints containing Xylitol. Not knowing this myself, I wanted to share this with you guys that this stuff is highly toxic to dogs.

    Tuffy used to find discarded gum all the time on our walks (not so much anymore). Thanks for the heads up, because he has had a sweet tooth for minty things in the past. I’ll be passing this along.
