Check the DNR website for the on-line FAS class. The classroom class geared to kids is required to be a certain number of weeks and a maximum number of hours a day. DNR requirements what can you say. IceHole Becker, MNPosts: 5 August 18, 2011 at 4:48 pm #989296 In MN, there is a new Independent Study available: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/firearms_isa/index.html Here are the procedures for doing the independent study online: http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/firearms_isa/procedures.html You can do the majority of it online at your own schedule, but you will still need to do a range day and meet with an instructor.
