Ziggy ran the resort like a pro and was the greeter when the boy and I first started being regulars at Everts. Sorry for your loss Steve Ziggy was one of a kind and the world isn’t quite as bright a place without him. If every dog had his personality then every home would have a dog–he was special beyond words.

    Steve,
I remember Ziggy well from my visits to Evert’s during your “reign”. He was a super dog. Strong attachments to our pets can sometimes be difficult to explain. I probably shouldn’t admit it, but sometimes there has been more tears over good dogs than others. So sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss , just put my Drake down last month . The old boy couldn’t get up anymore , I thought I was ready for that day WRONG , cried like a girl with no shame . He was a great dog , that would help himself to a sandwich if left on the table … lol

Glad to be able to converse in a p.m. with last week Steve. So sorry to hear about Ziggy, some glowing reports on the board above!!! Not looking forward to the day as I know mine and Lip Rippers’ 12 year olds are getting close too. God Speed to you and your family and extended friends who knew him from Evert’s.

Thanks for all the kind words guys! It really means a ton to hear all the great comments. Amber and I appreciate it more than you know! At 9 1/2 years old, it was too soon, but Ziggy left us with a million fantastic memories! Thanks again!
