Crocs – Sale

I realize I’m going to be accused of being light in the loafers by posting this.

Gander Mountain in Woodbury has 50% off their Crocs. They still had a pretty decent selection last night. The plain standard ones are normally 29.99 on sale for 15.00. The camo lined ones are normally 44.00 on sale for 22.00.

I’m on my 3rd pair of them now. They are the first kind of summer footware that doesn’t end up smelling like rotten night crawlers after getting them wet a couple dozen times.

Further proof that Gander continues the downward spiral to be more of a Yuppies’ clothing store and less of an Outdoorsmen’s sporting goods store.

See, you aren’t light in the loafers, you are a dumb***. I cannot stand seeing a grown man, much less anyone else wearing these. I don’t care how comfortable they are.

    They are Yuppywear?

If I ever get around to actually doing anything with my FB account, I may have to join that group.

so when I wear my black sock and crocs what am I? Seriously though when launching the boat I usually had some sort of flip flops to walk back and forth to/from the truck and getting out on unknown beaches. Started getting really sore feet, went and borrowed my buddies crocks and no more sore feet. Hence I keep a pair stored in the boat. Call me what you want.

Crocs will look good next to my shoes that look like feet, you know the ones that separate the toes like a glove.
Eeerg! Now I cant decide what ones to wear.

Flip flops and bare feet for me.

I am on the right and you are on the left.

Actually this is closer to me..

Say what you want but crocs don’t leave my feet often in the summer. Probably the most versatile footwear I own.

Whatever turns your crank. I guess I would rather look bad and be comfortable. Call me what you want? I have a name for a guy obsessed with lap dogs. But I will keep it to myself becuase thats what your into, and I don’t think any less of you for that.

Only real men can wear crocs! I will admit I used to make fun of them 5-6yrs ago but I have had a pair now for a few years and they are super comfortable, they breathe and they dont fall apart.

You guys that are making fun of them probably wear jeans and shoes all summer in the boat

    Pete,
I am right with you. If I am not working most likely I will have my crocs on. When my wife gave me my first pair for my bday, I was like ‘No F..ing way’.

I have 2 pair. 1 Flip flop, with these you DO NOT need a padded front deck to stay comfortable while on the bow mount all day and they look normal. I have one solid pair that I wear on rainy cold daysspring summer fall…..these things are also warm.
How can you have an attitude about shoes? I am guessing those ripping also have a set of bull balls hanging from your truck.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

They just complete the design theme which is established by the Texas Longhorns as a hood/grill ornament.

I don’t care what any of my fishing buddy’s wear on their feet as long as they show up on time and come ready to fish all day.

$15 to $20 for what I hear many say are decent summer fishing and boat wear sounds good to me. Think Ill have to go check them out. $50 sandals that only last a summer of beach time are getting old. Ended up leaving my 2 year old pair locked up in the truck for a few hot days. They where wet from loading the boat. Smelt like a heard of cats had been pissing in there for a week.

LOL, one thing is for sure, some croc wearers are defensive.

The OP went like this, “I realize I’m going to be accused of being light in the loafers by posting this.” I figured I’d have a little fun with it as long as Buzz was expecting it.

You have a name for guys obsessed with lapdogs…but you are going to keep it to yourself because you don’t think any less of me for it? That seems a bit contradictory. I think you do have a name for me, but you just don’t want to say it.

I will just leave you guys with this. I feel most comfortable in my boxers, but I am respectful enough to put clothes on when in public.

Wait, one more thing. I go barefoot all over, but I probably should have crocs to cover up by mutant ugly feet.

I’m far from a grammar nazi but I hear ya’, Tom.

If I read “prolly” used in place of “probably” one more time…
