    Hello –

My wife and I will be going out to eat for my Birthday in Rogers AFTER we stop at Cabela’s tonight. Looking for a Restaurant to have a few beers and anything along the lines of steak, shrimp, ribs, etc. What would be your first choice of Restaurant in Rogers?!! Thanks

    Chad

Menards is probably the best bet for your order of steak, shrimp, & beer.

My wife really likes Maynards, but I personally don’t care for the menu much. Always get good service there though.

Maynards is just north of the 101 & South Diamond Lake road intersection. Only a couple minutes from Cabelas. Try the szechuan green beans for a app.

Maynards is your best bet in Rogers. Rockwoods is 5 minutes up 101 in Otsego and I would recommend it over Maynards.

Rockwoods would be worth the extra 5 minute drive. You would get a better steak or ribs.

Eat at Cabelas! I believe they have a little deli, at least the one in Owatonna does. Try the Smoked Elk sandwich on rye!

Also the walleye fingers are great as well.

I would go to a hanover and eat at the River Inn. By far the best eatery in the area. Also the beer is very cold, It would be on the way back to Dassel as well.

Maynard’s and Rockwoods are both great. Rockwoods would be best for a steak, but otherwise I think Maynard’s has it beat.

x2…I go there everything I am at Cabelas and never had a bad meal. Great happy hour specials. Steak bites are awesome.

Nine miles East on 94 is Pittsburg Blue…a top shelf steak house…if you feel like putting on the extra few miles.

Natcho Mamas and Lowell Inn in Stillwater have pretty good chow but not much parking for boats, though you could hit Gander at Woodbury on the way and avoid the Cabellas crowds.

Cal, I lived in Hanover for 3 years and that place changed names like 5 times. Good beer though. Wait, that’s the bar with the Vball court right? OR was that the pizza shop by the river? or the other one across the road? Man, tough to remember those foggy nights.

We are the Bar and Grill near the River BUT NOT the hilltop!! At the only stoplights in Hanover take a left if coming from St.Michael and a right if your coming from across the bridge. Im there friday thru monday on my weekly grind before hittin the wood/water. But come early on the weekends as it gets alittle busy
