Wow, that play and the plays Harriston Jr. made in center. Something special is brewing in Milwaukee this year. Tickets for the game in two weeks from today and I cant wait.

Hopefully this is the sign of things to come. currently 5 games up, which isn’t that large of a margin at this time of year. But, if the level of playing continues to strengthen, they may have a good shot.

Four DP’s and a rare Triple play. I got to see the replay, but that night was overshadowed by Thomes’ Home Run milestone. Congrats to him.

Being in the Quad Cities, I can’t watch the Twins. I have Dish Network and they have FS Wisconsin so I can watch the Brewers.

You are lucky. I am about 300 miles upstream and all I get is Fox Sports North which really should be renamed Fox Sports Minnesota. I rarely get Brewers games. I get MLB network and they always show the other game on the schedule. This weekend, Fox Sports showed the Yankees at Tampa when Milwaukee is only 5 hours away.

I think the Brewers should be harmless to most Minnesotans, no inter division rivalry or even conference rivalry, In fact I would think it would be a nice change of pace to see the small market team’s succeed in the MLB playoffs even in the face of a payroll that will be twice or more of what the Crew or Twinkies could afford even with full stadiums night in and out.

My wife and I were at that game last night (Tuesday night), and it was a classic tense pitching dual. That pitching staff has just been unreal.
