    Don’t know if you guys are on ido but to the two guys in the old crestliner that towed me in at 2 am on pool 2 i can’t thank you enough for your help can’t find to many friendly People out there that will stop fishing and pull up anchor to tow someone they dont even know 3 miles up river. I’m forever in debt to you.

    P.s. I got my batterys chargin all night before I go out tonight so hopefully it don’t happen again

    Great to know there’s others out there that’ll do that.

    How big is your motor? The reason I ask is because I’ve pull started my 125 merc several times because of a dead battery fishing at night. Even in cold weather.

    I got a 115 evinrude and I tried to get her pullstarted but couldn’t get it to go. Thank god for this guy though because I was right in the line of fire of where the barges come out of

    you’d be surprised at how many “good people” are regulars on the river. i myself have helped people numerous times, and have also been helped. if you spend enough time on the water, you WILL find yourself broke down, taking on water, etc eventually. Just the nature of the beast.

    I got stuck on the ice late season duck hunting a couple years ago, and a guy lost an outboard trying to come and help me out. took about 3 hours, but finally i was “rescued” and made it back to shore.

    i never do worry about getting stranded for too long on the river.

    just remember to “pay it forward”.

    Difenitely will be paying it forward. Goin down to the croix tonight and when I head back in Round 1 might just drive around lookin for people in need.
