Anger Management

I think I might need it.

I was leaving Sams Club in Woodbury tonight and started to back up. There was an older guy and two ladies behind me walking into the store. I stopped and let them walk by. I had to get gas, so I had to head back towards the store. They were walking in front of me. The older hippy dude guy (mid 50s) was walking smack in the middle of the lane. They could not have walked any slower. I crept up to him thinking he would notice I was behind him. No reaction. WTF. Maybe he was hard of hearing? I tap my horn. He spun around armed with 2 blazing middle fingers asking me what my problem was? I said.. All you have to do is move out of my way so I can get around you. He muttered something about being an F..ing republican. (I have/had a Harsdorf bumper sticker in my rear window next to my In-Depth Outdoors sticker) Now.. realizing he was intentionally getting in my way because of my bumper sticker, I lost it. I don’t remember what I said after I called him a flea bag ^^&^&$#. I apologize to any women or children I may have offended with my colorful language. He approached my window and I figured I could get around him now. So I started to drive away. Now he starts following my truck taunting me. I was to the point of getting out of my truck and slammed on my brakes. The idiot walked into the back of my truck. It made me laugh seeing him in my rear view mirror. As I drove away, he was taking my picture with his phone camera. Funny thing is.. I think I could have taken him.

    What; couldn’t find reverse?
I’ve encountered these same situations. Just doesn’t seem to be any etiquette what-so-ever anymore, anywhere…what mid-set walks down the middle of the driving lane in a parking lot? Is this what they’re teaching their children/grand-children? Apparently we haven’t seen real ugly yet, but we’re well on our way!

Yet another case of a hate crime against us Republicans. Dang ideologists.

I have to say, him running into your truck is like the ends justifying the mean.

You have more Patience/ Self Control then Me. I think you did good though. It could have been alot worse for both of you. Especially him!

Although I’m a staunch creationist, there are those times that make me wish Darwin was right.

Yeah, I don’t do well in those situations. Actually, I’d like to think I could have come up with something clever enough to say with a smirk on my face to send him into a hippie rage.

Sounds like a candidate for anger management. Think one of the first things they teach is to not let other people control you.

What would Wellstone do?…. I tell you what he would do. He’d slam on the brakes, jump out of the car and put the dumb in a submission hold while screaming, “Get off my side!”

I’m guessing he was just in shock from realizing there is someone who likes both fishing and George Bush!

i would call ther eand get a parking lot video copy. as i am geuessing hiw little “phone thing” is saying you harrassed him and violated all his rights and he did nothing but walk in the lot and such.

had this happen to a buddy from a idiot a few years back. low and behold the buddy got the video. and 3 weeks later got a summons for court. guy blamed everything on him and everything and came up with “other” injuries. judge asked my buddy “what do you have to say” and he said can we watch the video of what really took place? everyone was surprised and the judge fined the guy that took him to court and wasted teh courts time.

I wont hesitate to offer up an opinion, but situations like you described is the reason why I would never put a bumper sticker on my vehicle (sorry IDO).

Also, why are 100% of the people with Wellstone bumper stickers VERY ugly.

Speaking of anger management. Has Brent been a good boy on the river this year and stoped yelling at the innocent walleye fishermen?

    Huh?

Just because he doesn’t walleye fish, doesn’t mean he isn’t a fisherman.

Exactly why I don’t put political stickers on my vehicles either. Of course, when you are driving a 82 Ford Pinto with a Obama/Wellstone/Kerry sticker on it, there really isn’t much to vandalize.

Hey, whose turning this into a politics thread.

I haven’t lost any pounders yet. I just turn the other way and muttered something about the flea-bag walleye guy.

I’m pretty sure any bumper sticker on an 82 Pinto would be considered “structurally necessary”.

In hind site, I’m glad I didn’t get out of my truck. The thought of calling my wife to get me out of jail or having the cops come to my house afterwards would not have been good.

It took a couple hours (and Captain Morgans) to cool off last night.

As conservative as I am, it amazes me there are radicals on both sides that will go out of their way to F with someone that doesn’t agree with them politically.

That’s why I never discuss them in person. Unfortunately, that leaves message boards and Twitter as my only outlet. Yeah, I know, Twitter.

I can’t even post anything on Facebook, because my brother will go off on me. And if he doesn’t right away, my other brothers are always there to prod him into chiming in on my comment.

I have a Suburu Outback and when I tried to put a Bush/Cheney bumper sticker on it the sticker just kept falling off.

Had to use a wire brush to get the Wellstone one off though.

You have to blame this all on the idiot who outlawed lead paint! Only the dumb kids ate paint chips and were eliminated from the gene pool, but someone got rid of the lead paint and now the dumb kids survive and are having even dumber kids that are protected even further by bike helmets. When will the madness stop, I say bring back lead paint and save the country.
