There are some of you who know my wife and fishing partner Lupe, well she has to have her gallbladder removed tomorrow. She’s pretty nervous about it by I keep telling her she’ll be fine. Keep her in your thoughts until she’s recovered.

Its a breeze, worst part of it is the incisions they make that seem to itch pretty bad for a few days afterwards. Prayers for a speedy recovery!

Yup, she’ll be just fine. Had mine out 6 years ago, good ever since. It affects women more than men, and she’ll eventually find food that she’s touchy with and not able to handle. Just hope it’s not one of her favorites. But….that should be the worst she has to worry about.

Piece of cake, had mine out about 10 years ago. 3 small incisions, worst part is the sore stomach muscles they cut through.

Piece of cake Lupe. Had it done maybe 10 years ago, didnt want to be far from the bathroom for a couple of months . It got better I had pizza at the O.P. several years ago with you and Ed. Won’t be long and you can do that again… with crushed red peppers!

    Ed,
It’s a piece of cake anymore using a Band-Aid surgery.

Mine was done 12 years ago as well, surgeon didn’t know if he would have to do it the old fashion way till he got into it because of past surgery in my tummy. He spent an extra hour to keep it easy on my recovery with the band aide. Recovery and back to work for me was 3 days and less. No issues, Tummy was a bit swishy felling the first day and then was good to go on the job site directing subcontractors as a Site Superintendent.

Good luck, know quite a few people to get their’s pulled, no one had any problems, though a few are sensitive to some foods afterwards.

Had mine done 7-8 years ago. Surgery is piece of cake. Do take those pain killer meds though when you get home. You find out just how much you use your stomach muscles those first few days.

Ed, wait on her hand and foot those first 1-2 days after!!
